The Summary of the Meeting of the Presidents of the Criminal Divisions of the High Court of Cassation and Justice and the Courts of Appeal / October 31 – November 1, 2024

Between October 31 and November 1, 2024, an online meeting took place involving the Presidents of Criminal Divisions of the High Court of Cassation and Justice and Courts of Appeal. The meeting was dedicated to discussing issues of inconsistent practice in the field of criminal law and criminal procedural law.

The event was attended by representatives of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, Courts of Appeal, the Prosecutor's Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs—Government Agent Department for the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), and the Ministry of Justice.

The discussions were moderated by Judge Carmen-Alina Gohoreanu and Judge Ionuț Victor Voina, in their capacity as trainers for the National Institute of Magistracy in the disciplines of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law.
